Hello everyone,
We need your help in making sure that people know they need to stay home and off the streets tonight. People that are experiencing homelessness, need to travel to and from work, seeking medical care, are experiencing domestic violence, or are in other dangerous situations, are exempt from the curfew.
There will be PSA’s on the radio on various ethnic media outlets.
Your voices as community leaders are needed! We know folks are coming together as block parties to talk about what they should do tonight.
The message is very straight forward: stay safe and shelter in place.
By following the curfew, you allow the National Guard other public safety personnel to keep our communities safe and remove the people who wish to do us harm.
Social media language and other messaging are below.
Thank you for all that you do. We will get through this together and work to rebuild and revitalize our communities.
In safety and solidarity,
Audel
